Winter Contrast

Portland Rose Garden; Portland, OR

Last time I was down in Portland, I took this picture while walking through the Portland Rose Garden with Mom and Dad. I love the contrast of how trees change to survive winter.

Dreaming of Retirement...

Ok, so maybe I'm a little young to be thinking of retirement. But she looks amazing! Can you imagine sailing the Caribbean on a 45' sailing yacht? What's even better, I can stand straight up below deck, with headroom of 6' 7". This is the new Hunter 45 Center Cockpit. Start saving early!

My Dad and I

Cannon Beach, OR

This week I was visiting my parents in Portland, OR. My younger brother had flown up from Georgia with his wife and brand new son. One of the days, we traveled to Cannon Beach, OR, the sight of Hay Stack Rock. Before I was harassed by the environmentalists, I was able to take the shot you see in my previous post. While walking on the beach, here is a picture I took of mom and dad all bundled up and in good spirits. It was a little chilly on this late March day.
